We’ve tried for a decade to keep them consistent and try as we might, it’s just not going to happen. We’ve come to look at it as part of the imperfect handmade process. Everybody has their own tastes, so if you want them darker, you can either buy a pewter blackening solution and try your hand at it, or you can ship them back to us and we’ll make them darker. If you want them lighter, you can use dish soap and any kind of scrubby or a toothbrush.
